**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining process and production equipment, as well as overseeing general building maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to designing, implementing, and managing preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment. + Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for mechanical equipment. + Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. + Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipts. + Collaborate directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. + Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Excellent mechanical aptitude. + Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. + Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. + Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. + Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. + Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. + Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required. + Ability to work overtime as required. + High school diploma or GED. + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers room for growth as it continues to expand, providing you with opportunities to advance your career. **Work Environment** The work environment is clean but not climate controlled. There are two openings on the third shift during weekends, with flexibility in days as long as you can work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 pm to 7 am, Thursday to Monday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
