**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Hiring on First or Mid Shift!** Please send resume to @mobartlett@aerotek.com **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups within the organization. The ideal candidate will direct local and contractor mechanical/journeyman staff to ensure high-quality work is completed timely and safely. They will collaborate with planners to communicate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to develop schedules, ensuring all resources such as parts, people, and equipment are available. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections, documenting and communicating findings effectively. + Understand and maintain bearings, seals, pumps, electrical motors, and high-speed equipment. + Perform alignment and balancing tasks as needed. + Interpret blueprints, flow diagrams, and simple control circuits to troubleshoot systems. + Lift up to 55lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, wear a respirator, work within confined spaces, and follow safety protocols such as LOTO/MESI. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance. + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair. + Knowledge of PLCs and mechanical drive systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associates Degree in electrical and/or mechanical discipline preferred or 7 years of experience in an industrial environment. + General knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). + Understanding of Lean methodologies such as 6S, Standard Work, Overall Equipment Efficiencies, and Autonomous Maintenance. + Familiarity with equipment like pumps, conveyors, fans, mills, and dryers. + Advanced troubleshooting techniques for pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems, with basic knowledge of electrical, automation, and PLCs. + Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, preferably SAP. + Proficient in using personal computers and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-oriented company that offers a supportive atmosphere and excellent opportunities for growth.
