Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Entry Level Facilities & Maintenance Technician, where you will play a key role in supporting daily facility operations while developing foundational skills in building systems and maintenance. This hands-on, growth-oriented position provides on-the-job training in a collaborative technical environment, assisting experienced technicians with preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of equipment and workspaces. Responsibilities include performing basic maintenance tasks such as filter changes, light bulb replacements, equipment cleaning, maintaining mechanical rooms and supply areas, setting up workspaces for contractors and vendors, tracking inventory, and restocking supplies. The role also requires monitoring and reporting facility issues such as leaks or temperature concerns, following all safety protocols including proper PPE usage, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while building a strong career foundation in facilities maintenance. Skills and Requirements • High school diploma or GED • 0–3 years of related experience (internships/part-time welcome) • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn • Ability to follow instructions and work safely • Willingness to obtain MN State Special Boiler License • Vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance • Familiarity with hand tools and basic repairs • Exposure to safety practices (e.g., Lockout-Tagout) • Interest in long-term facilities career
