Job Description
The Maintenance Technician Level 5, also known as a Robotics Technician, is responsible for executing preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This role requires troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and controls failures. The technician performs advanced maintenance procedures on all plant equipment, including AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controls, power distribution systems, computer hardware, minor mechanical adjustments, and equipment/part replacement.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and control failures.Perform advanced maintenance on AC/DC control circuitry, PLCs, microprocessor controls, and power distribution systems.Make minor mechanical adjustments and replace equipment/parts as necessary.Utilize electrical schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting.Execute PLC troubleshooting and manage 480 3-phase motor control systems.Handle robotic troubleshooting, preferably with ABB systems.Essential Skills
5-10 years of advanced troubleshooting experience with automated and robotic manufacturing equipment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics, and process control diagrams.Experience in troubleshooting and programming VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs.Working knowledge of RS Logix and/or C Logix, as well as SLC/Micro Logix programming platforms.Ability to interpret and respond to fault readings on controllers, PLCs, and variable frequency drives.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Marion, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
