Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) across designated zones such as Cast, Facilities/Mix, Packaging, or Electrical.Apply expert knowledge in at least one zone and intermediate knowledge across plant systems to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Demonstrate technical proficiency as outlined in the plant’s skills matrix.Proactively identify work needs without direct instruction and generate accurate work orders in the CMMS.Respond to line calls, completing 95% independently within your zone and 80% across the plant.Collaborate effectively with other disciplines to resolve issues and improve reliability.Support predictive maintenance activities such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and root cause failure analysis.Uphold safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large-scale chemical and manufacturing plant, involving heavy equipment and chemical processes. It is a union facility. Technicians will adhere to strict safety protocols and work initially on a day shift for the first 90 days before transitioning to a night shift with a rotating schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
