**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Pay:** 25-32 an hour starting out, with pay increases **Shift: 2-2-3 schedule; day or night** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing systems to minimize downtime, conducting preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety, and supporting equipment upgrades and process improvement projects. Compliance with safety rules, HACCP, and GMP is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair systems to minimize downtime. + Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety. + Support equipment upgrades and process improvement projects. + Maintain compliance with safety rules, HACCP, and GMP. **Essential Skills** + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Experience with preventive maintenance programs. + Expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred. + 3-5 years of proven manufacturing experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical field. + Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment such as coating, laminating, miraflex, and tuber machines. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to work with small tolerances of tools, equipment, and machinery. + Physically capable of climbing over structures, beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. During training, the schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm for 6-12 months. Post-training, the shifts will be either day openings from 7 am to 7 pm or night openings from 7 pm to 7 am, with a rotating schedule of 7 days over 2 weeks, working every other weekend. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Summerville, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
