**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, adjusting, and maintaining equipment on a daily basis. This position requires Forklift Certification and plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability. Due to the physical demands of this job, it is essential to utilize correct lifting techniques, proper body mechanics, and applicable safe work practices. **Responsibilities** + Receive and prioritize work orders from the Maintenance Supervisor. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. + Maintain and repair all production equipment. + Use PLCs to troubleshoot production equipment. + Edit programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment. + Edit programs to control conveyors or stacking machinery. + Change motors. + Read electrical schematics. + Install and repair plumbing. + Splice conveyor belts. + Rebuild gear boxes. + Perform pneumatic and hydraulic repairs. + Install and move machines. + Repair hot melt units. + Complete general electrical and mechanical repairs. + Perform building maintenance repairs. **Essential Skills** + Electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting skills. + Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. + Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + At least 7 years of relevant work experience. + Knowledge in robotic/CNC systems and electronic interfaces. + Ability to evaluate design flaws and implement corrective actions. + Basic math and engineering skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy excellent benefits and the opportunity for growth within the company. **Work Environment** The role is based in a manufacturing warehouse environment, which may expose you to heat, cold, fumes, chemicals, allergens, and mold. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
