What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician you’ll have a direct impact on the s afety of our teams, safety of our products and growing our business. Your responsibilities will include increasing efficiency, reducing breakdowns, and extending the life of equipment. Familiarity with various production floor concepts, practices, and procedures will help you plan and accomplish goals using your experience and judgment. Collaborating with Kerry Group’s maintenance and engineering teams, you will implement + + Preventative Maintenance Strategy Align with business goals for smooth operations. + Root Cause Analysis Investigate breakdowns lasting over 4 hours and develop corrective actions. + Proactive Issue Identification Use advanced tools to monitor equipment and identify issues early. Duties may include + + Maintain, repair, and rebuild production machines and equipment. + Troubleshoot pneumatics, rebuild valves/pumps, and set mechanical timing. + Calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment. + Work with 3-phase and high voltage electrical systems. + Provide general facility maintenance and repair. What You'll Need to Succeed + + High School diploma or equivalency required; Industrial maintenance degree, welding certification, industrial electrical certification, Associate degree in a related field or completion of a Trades/Technical School program preferred. + 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proficient in electrical, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings. + Practiced in safe work habits. + Team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done. + Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement. + Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook). SAP knowledge is helpful. + Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environment (plant is temperature controlled and well ventilated). What We Offer The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
