**Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation of essential plant equipment, including bioreactors, centrifuges, refrigeration equipment, freeze dryers, spray dryers, boilers, chillers, make-up air units, HVAC systems, air compressors, back-up generators, and blenders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and operate bioreactors and fermentation vessels.
+ Troubleshoot and repair centrifuges and refrigeration equipment.
+ Ensure efficient operation of freeze dryers and spray dryers.
+ Monitor and maintain boilers and chillers.
+ Handle maintenance of make-up air units and HVAC systems.
+ Manage air compressors and back-up generators.
+ Perform routine maintenance on blenders.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.
+ Mechanical skills.
+ Certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance Technician or a similar program.
+ 0-5 years of experience in installing and maintaining plant floor mechanical and electrical systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A 2-year degree or certification in a relevant field.
**Work Environment**
The role requires the ability to sit, stand, and move about the facility regularly. The work environment includes exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, heat, and odors. The production environment is not temperature-controlled, so exposure to both hot and cold working conditions is to be expected.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, WI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
