**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on various equipment and systems, including material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment, motor controls, and PLCs. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for all breakdowns and preventative maintenance tasks within the FedEx facilities. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative maintenance for FedEx facilities, focusing on material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment. + Troubleshoot and maintain motor controls and PLCs, with an ability to identify and resolve issues. + Serve as the primary maintenance resource, addressing equipment breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance. + Perform general handyman tasks as needed, such as changing lights and other minor repairs. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. + Proficiency in motor controls and industrial 3-phase power. + Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems. + Experience with preventative maintenance and reading wire diagrams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with conveyor systems is a plus. + Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where you will receive a company vehicle, cell phone, and gas card after successfully completing the initial months. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Preventative maintenance is carried out between morning and evening sort hours, with repair and replacement tasks performed as needed. Employees have access to the facilities from 8 AM to 4 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
