**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Location: Pit Meadows, BC** **Pay Rate: $25-30/hr** **Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM or 7:30AM-4PM** **Job Description** This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting a growing manufacturing facility. This position is considered critical to sustaining plant operations. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team and work alongside existing technicians. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs of metal stamping presses, drilling, and milling machines. + Troubleshoot and service electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Conduct routine building and service maintenance tasks. + Access rooftops occasionally using scissor lifts (no ladder work involved). + Document maintenance activities and communicate effectively with team members. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance. + Proficiency in maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. + Basic knowledge of 12–480V electrical systems and Lock Out Tag Out procedures. + Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Physical capability for heavy lifting. + Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. + Possession of own tools (company may supplement post-hire). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with welding. + Understanding of schematics and blueprints. + Nice to have certifications: Fall protection, WHMIS, and forklift tickets (training can be arranged). + Willingness to learn ERP/SAP systems. + Ability to work independently and demonstrate patience. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a vibrant work culture with company BBQs and a paid Christmas party.
