Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our production line operates efficiently and safely. You will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing installations, and executing preventative maintenance and repairs to support our production needs.

ResponsibilitiesProvide production line maintenance coverage to keep equipment in top condition and maintain a safe work environment.Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment.Administer a predictive maintenance program and participate in continuous improvement projects.Provide maintenance support to plant facilities, including oversight and coordination of visiting contractors.Follow safe working practices and promote a 'Work Safe, Home Safe' culture throughout the plant.Address observed safety hazards immediately and report them to the site manager.Ensure safe and reliable operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines and systems.Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems by discussing machine operation variations with staff and observing mechanical devices.Repair and install machinery and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and controls.Remove defective parts using hoists, presses, hand, and power tools.Administer a preventive maintenance program, document maintenance procedures, and assist in the control of documents.Prepare mechanical maintenance reports and ensure reliability and continuity among work teams.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingMechanical and Preventive maintenancePLC troubleshootingElectrical troubleshootingHydraulicsPneumaticsBlueprint readingExperience with motorsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specificationsProficiency with precision measuring and testing instrumentsAbility to fabricate repair parts using appropriate tools and equipmentWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
