Job Description
Maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities to maximize uptime and minimize production-related costs. Play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul production equipment and support systems.Prioritize tasks using work orders and document activities in the CMMS system.Collaborate with maintenance team and production supervisors to complete tasks.Perform and monitor preventive maintenance for manufacturing and facility equipment.Support equipment installation, relocation, and fabrication; coordinate with contractors.Maintain building facilities and grounds.Train machine operators in preventive maintenance and minor repairs.Provide technical support to production personnel and ensure safety equipment is functional.Manage parts inventory and support materials, including welding supplies, steel, and fittings.Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.Enforce and advocate for safety procedures and report OSHA deficiencies.Maintain fire protection and safety equipment.Participate in special projects as assigned.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMechanical skillsHydraulicsPneumaticsRepair and preventive maintenanceAbility to read schematics and blueprintsPLC troubleshootingExperience in industrial and mechanical environmentsAdditional Skills & Qualifications2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience75% Mechanical, 20% Electrical, 5% FabricationSpanish bilingual preferred but not requiredWhy Work Here?
