Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance as outlined by the maintenance supervisor. You will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, as well as conveyors and PLC-controlled machines.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the maintenance supervisor.Independently troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors and PLC-controlled machines.Coordinate with Operations to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize overtime and downtime.Essential SkillsIndustrial maintenance experience.Proficiency in forklift operations.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.2+ years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.Knowledge of roll formers and stamping presses.Electrical and fabrication skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a heavy manufacturing environment characterized by lean manufacturing layouts. Conditions can be dirty, hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. Work the afternoon shift from 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. You will be part of a small team of five maintenance personnel, with afternoons typically covered by a single team member. Safety gear, including ear protection, will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamilton, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
