Maintenance Technician

Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician based in Corvallis, OR assigned to the weekend shift. This hands-on position carries responsibilities for supporting maintenance and engineering support activities for Inpria’s EUV photoresist production and laboratories. This position provides career growth opportunities in an expanding team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work efficiently with limited direction and can communicate well with our Manufacturing, Engineering and Research Chemistry teams. Will be assigned to weekday shift with reassignment to weekend shift after training.

Operator Primary Responsibilities:

Perform and document onsite preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment checks to ensure reliable operation and regulatory compliance. Coordinate downtime with stakeholders and service providers.Send and receive equipment to/from external service providers for maintenance and calibrations.Execute work orders to meet the needs of internal stakeholders across the organization.Manage parts storage and collaborate with the procurement department to maintain critical spare inventory levels.Create and maintain equipment documentation, including service histories and operational profiles.Follow safe work practices including wearing PPE and using LOTO.Follow documented operating procedures and process instructions.Perform work in an organized manner maintaining good housekeeping in a cleanroom environment.Provide responsive weekend support for equipment and facility issues impacting manufacturing operations.Inspect equipment and facilities regularly; identify and report unsafe or abnormal conditions.Work with engineers, operators, and chemists to troubleshoot equipment failures; source and replace components as needed to restore operation.Support sourcing efforts for new equipment, parts, and service needs.Support facilities and equipment projects, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and vendors on installations and commissioning.Support high volume manufacturing staff including operators, technicians, engineers and management team by troubleshooting issues and repairing equipment.Assist engineering team in further developing programs as requirements change and new processes are added.Work with Engineering and EHS to implement a job hazard analysis program.Provide cross-functional support to other teams during high-priority projects or due to resource constraints.Assist operations in moving equipment and supplies.

Key Qualifications:

Ability to pass forklift training and certification programs with 30 days of hiring.Minimum Associate’s degree in mechatronics, an Associate’s degree in a technical or science field with 4+ years relevant experience, or 10+ years relevant experience.Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and web-based platforms.Working knowledge of CMMS systems.Demonstrated good chemical hygiene, safe laboratory practices; recognizes hazardous conditions and addresses them.Well-organized, proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, quality-minded, and eager to learn.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, flexibility to respond to rapidly changing conditions.Willingness to cover weekend production needs.Preference given to candidates with cleanroom and/or chemical processing experience.Ability to use tools to lift equipment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry and/or analysis, and for presenting data.Ability to wear a respirator (upon training/certification) for processes that may require it.Ability to wear standard cleanroom attire in areas that require it.Ability to wear standard PPE in areas that require it.Ability to lift 40 lbs overhead.Ability to move full 55-gallon drums with appropriate handling equipment.Ability to work a 5 x 8 schedule that includes Saturday and Sunday.Ability to work company-holidays to support operations.
