Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Fresno, CA . $23-$26
As a Maintenance Technician you will:
Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and execute maintenance schedules and projects. Support in maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and equipment. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including greasing bearings, replacing wear parts, and monitoring equipment for signs of wear or malfunction. Assist with basic electrical tasks such as swapping motors, replacing breakers, and wiring adjustments. Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Help with limited fabrication work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times. Assist with machine inspections and document maintenance work performed.This is a full time opportunity. 1st shift 5am-1:30pm possible overtime
The ideal candidate will have the following:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in basic maintenance tasks, including mechanical and electrical work. Knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery is preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bi-lingual; English and Spanish a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods. Comfortable with working in varying temperatures and conditions typical in a plant environment.Pay Rate: $23-$26 per hour
