**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the maintenance supervisor. This role involves troubleshooting system issues and executing corrective actions independently. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors and PLC-controlled machines. Additionally, you will coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with Operations to minimize overtime and downtime. Responsibilities + Conduct preventative maintenance as outlined by the maintenance supervisor. + Independently troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions. + Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors and PLC-controlled machines. + Schedule repairs and preventative maintenance with Operations to minimize overtime and downtime. Essential Skills + Experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 2+ years in heavy industrial environments. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Knowledge of electrical systems and fabrication techniques. + Experience with forklifts, roll formers, and stamping presses. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting. + Familiarity with roll former and stamping press operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a direct hire position with an afternoon shift from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. The work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting, which can be dirty and subject to temperature extremes—hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Operating in a lean manufacturing layout, the team consists of five maintenance personnel, with afternoon shifts covered by one individual. Safety gear, including ear protection, will be provided.
