**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will primarily perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the facility, including tanks, heat treat equipment, motors, and ovens. Your role will involve both mechanical and fabrication work, ensuring that racks and other structures are maintained and fabricated as needed. You will also handle facilities maintenance tasks to keep the building in optimal condition. This role involves a significant amount of project-based work, such as creating new storage racks or refurbishing office spaces, as well as facilities work like plumbing and minor drywall repairs. Additionally, you will frequently rebuild pumps.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment such as tanks, motors, and ovens.
+ Perform mechanical and fabrication tasks, including rack fabrication and repair.
+ Ensure facilities maintenance, including plumbing and minor drywall repairs.
+ Engage in project-based work, like creating new storage racks or refurbishing office spaces.
+ Rebuild and troubleshoot pumps.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for maintenance and fabrication tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in industrial maintenance, especially troubleshooting pumps.
+ Proficiency with 3-phase 480V electrical systems.
+ Fabrication skills, specifically in building racks.
+ Blueprint reading and interpretation.
+ Ability to replace motors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a finishing company is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, with normal working hours from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility available from 4:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Initially, no weekend work is required while on contract, with potential for on-call duties upon direct hire.

This is a Permanent position based out of South Bend, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
