Overtime may also be required What's on the menu? Job Overview:The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position requires strict attention to detail, ability to work with a wide variety of Team Members, Process Leads, Supervisors, Regulatory Officials, and Managers!
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Work with and under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair meat processing and packaging equipment. Maintain/repair/rebuild production/process related systems and/or components.
Learn Standard Cleaning methods and assist with scheduled plant cleaning.
Assist/perform production related functions as needed/or requested by the Process Lead and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
Comply with all plant policies, safety regulations and industrial hygiene regulations as a condition of employment. Provide technical assistance and/or participate in KSRMP committees as requested.
Provide communication between Engineering and Operation teams as Engineering representative on operational teams/committees.
Use all maintenance systems as directed. Perform any related system function correctly and accurately. Utilize detailed steps in performance of all PMs by following steps an adding to or questioning when appropriate. Keep work area clean and perform shop clean-up as directed or vital.
Know and follow Listeria rules/procedures. Promote and support interpersonal goals and culture. Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance or Production Team Leader. Maintain compliance with KSRMP Safety Policies & Procedures. Maintain compliance individually with performance against Maintenance KPI’s. Maintain proficiency in SAP functions.
Management personnel share responsibility for legality, employee and product safety, and environmental and quality systems at all times. All salaried employees must have an accessible list of critical contact names and information. The Ranking Executive (TRE) on site is responsible for situational leadership until key staff can be appropriately engaged.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Must be a minimum of at least 18 years of age Must be capable of working any shift that is assigned Positions involve lifting, bending, and stooping, and must have the ability to lift to 50 pounds. 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent technical school or College level course work. High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience required. AA or Technical Degree/training preferred. Previous manufacturing experience and basic digital literacy and computer skills.About Us
