POSITION SUMMARY:

The individual in this position is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness, repair, and maintenance of WestCare facilities. This includes maintaining a safe, functional, and clean environment for staff, clients, and visitors. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks related to facility upkeep, including routine inspections, repairs, and general maintenance duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintain the facility grounds and maintain buildings (interior & exterior) in a clean, safe, and efficient operating condition. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of supplies, donated items, and a tool control system. Assist Director to maintain, schedule and supervise clients assigned to perform duties associated with the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and grounds. Respond to routine emergencies and make normal repairs. Define problems and provide written bids and assessments for anything that must be repaired or replaced to Program Director or designee. Respond to work orders daily and maintain records of completed tasks.
