Description We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lawrence & Fortville, Indiana. This is a contract position where you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical integrity of our residential properties and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to resident work orders and complete maintenance tasks within the expected timeframe of 24 to 48 hours. • Perform routine maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks. • Ensure the grounds are well-maintained and visually appealing by performing regular cleanup and landscaping duties. • Assist with unit turnovers between residents, adhering to company standards and completing tasks within 3-5 days. • Provide support for court-ordered set-outs when required. • Handle emergency situations efficiently and be available for on-call responsibilities as needed. • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Maintain reliable communication with residents, staff, and management to ensure service excellence. Requirements Requirements: • At least 1 year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. • Certification or training in HVAC systems is preferred. • Strong commitment to regular attendance, including availability for weekends and overtime when necessary. • Ability to respond to on-call emergencies promptly and professionally. • Broad knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • A positive attitude and dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
