PeopleReady Skilled Trades is actively seeking Maintenance Technicians. In this role you will assist in maintenance and repairs of assigned property to include grounds, HVAC and appliances, interior and exterior of buildings and out buildings, and apartment turnovers. This will include areas such as replacing appliances, preventative maintenance for HVAC, general plumbing, and electrical. _Note: The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $25 / hour. Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ . **Responsibilities:** + Replace air filters, toilet seats, faucets, shower heads, light fixtures, doors, vanities, etc. + Perform general pool routine maintenance to including cleaning + Complete small repairs such as patching/repairing drywall, fixing locks, and leaky taps + Check and maintain safety equipment including fire alarms, extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors. + Following a maintenance schedule to ensure all routine tasks are satisfactory. **Qualifications:** + 3 to 5 years commercial maintenance experience required. + Must be able to use independent judgement to determine actions to be taken, priorities, emergencies, etc. + Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties and responsibilities while working with little direction.
