Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician performs both preventative and corrective maintenance to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems in assigned facilities. This role involves assisting Operating Engineers in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. The technician conducts inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, and more.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Performing HVAC maintenance including cleaning coils, changing filters and beltsMaintaining and repairing locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furnitureMaintaining documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systemsRepairing plumbing components including toilets, urinals, sinks, water heaters, and sump pumpsPreparing, priming, and painting building interior and exterior surfacesPrioritizing all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergency work orders for the siteProvide feedback to Lead Operating Engineer and Engineering Manager regarding needed repairs, special services, etc.Completing required safety trainings and hazard assessmentsUpdating work order status in real time using CMMS system

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

Experience with hand tools and power toolsProficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, Outlook, CMMS/Maximo,Corrigo)Minimum 2 year of related experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbingHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 80 lbsCapability to work in adverse conditions (extreme cold/heat)Willingness to be available for call-in work

Preferred:

EPA Universal LicenseBAS (Building Automation Systems) experienceExperience with preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment

Estimated total compensation for this position:

70,900.00 – 102,700.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
