Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, as assigned by the supervisorInspect, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial machinery using tools and equipmentApply OSHA safety standards to all tasks, including machine operations and lock-out/tag-out proceduresTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutionsMaintain detailed records of work completed and assist in special projectsWork with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipmentCollaborate with other departments to ensure overall success of operationsFollow instructions carefully and display a willingness to learnQualifications:
High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, particularly with motor controls and electrical componentsExperience in manufacturing environment is a plusValid driver’s license requiredFamiliarity with using and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment safely and effectivelyAbility to read and understand basic machine schematics with minimal guidanceComfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, with frequent handling of materials up to 20 lbsStrong troubleshooting skills and attention to detailMust have the ability to use a variety of measuring instruments with precision (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and manipulate materials up to 50 lbs unassistedAbility to perform tasks requiring mobility, including bending, stooping, and reachingAdditional Information:
