Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of all machinery in the plant. This includes working with equipment such as rollers, conveyors, corrugators, slicers, benders, gear boxes, motors, and panels. The role involves a combination of responding to repair calls to troubleshoot breakdowns and following a preventative maintenance schedule. Electrical work will include motor swaps, AC, DC, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery.Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns in machinery and equipment.Conduct electrical work, including motor swaps, sensors, and wiring.Follow a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure machinery efficiency.Work with a variety of machinery, including rollers, conveyors, and motors.Essential SkillsExperience with troubleshooting in an industrial maintenance setting, minimum 2 years.Experience with preventative maintenance practices.Knowledge of electrical maintenance, including PLC experience.Mechanical maintenance and repair skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectrical experience preferred but not required.Strong industrial mechanic background is considered.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes union shifts, typically on the 2nd or 3rd shift, with traditional hours of 3-11 PM and 11-7 AM. The plant is a standard production environment with no air conditioning, leading to hot conditions in the summer, but heated in the winter. It features a large open floor plan with large corrugating machines and requires significant walking. The facility is well-lit, and the machinery is maintained cleanly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $34.30/hr.
