Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a weekend shift position, offering a full 40 hours of pay. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on flavoring machinery and facility equipment, collaborating with other maintenance mechanics and specialists. The position requires working on various machines including Dry blend, spraying, reactors, extractors, and compounding machines.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on equipment as outlined by the company manual.Repair production equipment using mechanical knowledge and printed repair manuals.Assist in replacing production equipment.Maintain a neat and orderly workplace and shop.Maintain building and grounds to the required standards.Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements in the operational area.Maintain inventory of all tools.Perform other duties as required by management.Work with GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SSOP, and Safety guidelines.Handle mechanical and electrical tasks, including working with 480 volts and 3 phase motors.Perform HVAC tasks within a food processing company.Ensure attention to detail and quality.Implement lock out tag out procedures within the food industry.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingMaintenance technician skillsMechanical and electrical knowledgeHydraulics and pneumatics expertiseAbility to read blueprints and schematicsExperience with voltages up to 480VExperience working on single and 3 phase motorsAdditional Skills & QualificationsForklift repairCherry picker repairExperience in food/flavors industryElectrical experienceExperience from a HACCP certified facilityWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work takes place in a GMP-regulated food environment with a maintenance team of about 8 members. The setting is very clean, adhering to high standards of safety and operational guidelines.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $35.00/hr.
