Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and service areas. This role involves diagnosing machines, dismantling, inspecting, machining, or replacing parts, and performing skilled operations for equipment installation and relocation.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and service areas.Diagnose machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments.Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components through dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.Perform skilled operations such as removal of belts for industrial equipment and other activities related to installation and relocation of machines and equipment.Conduct maintenance on buildings, facilities, and grounds.Assist in determining the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and requirements for completion.Ensure preventive maintenance on climate control equipment, forklifts, and WAVES.Maintain required maintenance logs and files.Perform routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures.Other tasks as defined.Essential SkillsMaintenance technician expertiseElectrical troubleshootingMechanical repairHydraulics and pneumatics knowledgePreventive maintenance practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprintsBasic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVACEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5-7 years of experience in maintenanceComputer experience with MS OfficeHazmat certificationWelding experience is a plusValid Driver's licenseWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility, with work performed primarily during the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The position involves frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. The technician will be standing, walking, crouching, bending, twisting, and squatting for the majority of the day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
