**Maintenance Technician** Currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Peotone, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Shift** : 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am) **Description** This position involves both preventative and reactive maintenance on all production and packaging machinery. The role requires mechanical and electrical repairs on various equipment including applicators, packaging machinery, box makers, palletizers, wrappers, conveyors, presses, box erectors, compressors, pumps, motors, mixers, and ovens. You will work with voltages up to 480V and will need to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. MIG and TIG welding skills are necessary when required. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery. + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery. + Work on sauce applicators, topping applicators, packaging machinery, presses, box erectors, compressors, pumps, motors, mixers, and ovens. + Handle electrical work up to 480V. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Perform MIG and TIG welding as needed. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic. + Ability to read schematics and blueprints. + Possession of personal tools. + Troubleshooting skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
