Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role within the Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and scheduled preventative maintenance of loading and packing machines as well as plant facilities.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and set up machines and equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.Conduct routine inspections to determine necessary adjustments and repairs.Troubleshoot and repair production and building equipment.Support production with changeover and product setup/startup.Adhere to company, state, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.Maintain housekeeping and organization of work areas.Comply with SQF (Safe Quality Food) code and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines and standards.Maintain facility standards in accordance with state and OSHA regulations.Report any incidents or potential noncompliance regarding quality assurance or food safety.Essential SkillsAt least one year of industrial maintenance experience.Experience in troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and conveyors.PLC troubleshooting and repair.Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and understanding of lock-out, tag-out procedures (480v / 3 phase).Ability to break down and rebuild machines to fix minor mechanical issues.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to read blueprints and perform fabrication and welding.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
