Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of steel plate and steel coil manufacturing equipment. The position involves working with plasma tables and steel coil lines, as well as some preventive maintenance on forklifts. The role requires spending 75% of the time in the production area, focusing on preventive maintenance and addressing equipment breakdowns.

Work Environment
This role operates on a 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 1PM to 11:30 PM, with an 'on-call' duty approximately once per month. The work takes place in a very large industrial warehouse, initially built to accommodate warship construction. While the environment is old school and protected from external elements, the building is hot in summer and cold in winter due to the frequent opening and closing of doors, which affects temperature control.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
