Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on distribution center equipment and building facilities in a safe and efficient manner. You will repair items promptly, following established procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or broken tools to management. You will also utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to efficiently manage work tasks, including recording work history and identifying parts usage.
ResponsibilitiesAssist other maintenance technicians in repairing and maintaining equipment.Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, fencing, and building facilities such as bathrooms and plumbing.Communicate effectively with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing.Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation accurately according to procedures.Read and comprehend technical drawings including blueprints and schematics to repair and maintain equipment.Troubleshoot complex issues with equipment where repairs are not immediately obvious.Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, and electronic and electrical equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, and automated equipment.Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.Proficiency in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical systems, conveyor maintenance, and 3-phase electrical motors.Additional Skills & QualificationsCoursework or certification in welding, electrical, mechanical automation, or industrial electronics is preferred.Skills in PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial operations are advantageous.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $76960.00/yr.
401(k) Plan: matches each dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your eligible pay.
