Maintenance Technician – Marshfield, WI
Recruiting on behalf of a local food manufacturing facility

Location: Marshfield, WI
Shift: Sunday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overtime required)

Wage / Hours:

Wage open based on experience

Minimum starting at $28.00 per hour (includes $3.00 shift premium)

$3.00 shift premium applies from 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday through Friday and all day Saturday

1.5x pay on Sundays

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a growing food manufacturing facility in Marshfield, WI. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, then reassemble equipment

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and systems operating efficiently

Inspect motors, drives, belts, and fluid levels; replace filters and worn components

Use a variety of tools, including precision instruments and electrical testing devices

Assemble, install, or repair wiring, plumbing, mechanical systems, and equipment

Diagnose mechanical issues using blueprints, manuals, and part catalogs

Operate, inspect, and test equipment to identify and resolve malfunctions

Clean, lubricate, and maintain moving parts and machinery

Maintain records of maintenance work and associated costs

Minimum Qualifications:

Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations

Comfortable working in various physical and environmental conditions

Forklift certification required

Education: Certification from a vocational school or associate degree in industrial/mechanical technology (not required with sufficient experience)

Experience:

With education: 0–1 year in a manufacturing maintenance role

Without education: 2–5 years in a related maintenance position

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Instrumentation and/or Journeyman Card for Millwright or Electrical Instrumentation

Experience:

With education: 2–5 years in a manufacturing environment

Without education: 4–10 years in maintenance-related work
