**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift from 2:45pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical repairs on laser sensors, cylinders, pneumatic valves, hot plate welders, light curtains, proximity sensors, heater probes, pin stamps, pressure switches, bowl feeders, and air compressors ranging from 100-150 horsepower. + Conduct preventative maintenance on molding machines, peripheral equipment, compressors, dryers, and general building equipment. + Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machinery and facility problems. + Read and interpret operational information, instructions, timing charts, and flow charts to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. + Connect and view programs to analyze machine sequences and identify issues. + Focus on maintaining load cells, intelligent actuators, troubleshooting vision systems, automated screw guns, bowl feeding/blow feeding, variable frequency drives, laser printers, and proximity sensors. **Essential Skills** + Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics. + Proficiency in machine repair, particularly with plastics injection molding. + Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems. + Experience with preventive maintenance and electrical maintenance. + Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting and understand robotic programming. **Work Environment** This role is based in a smaller molding facility that is clean and currently undergoing reorganization to enhance workflow efficiency. The work environment is supportive, and you will have access to modern equipment and tools. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
