The Opportunity:

Mechanical repair work and services in a safe, proficient manner on plant equipment and facilityPreventative maintenance – perform lubrication and inspection schedules for equipmentTroubleshooting equipment – identifying problems and developing a course of action to resolveProject work – new installations, modifications to existing equipmentCommunication with production – understanding the problems and needs of productionAssembly and repairs of small partsExperience maintaining PM schedulesHave a strong emphasis on safety and exhibit good safety practicesMust be a self-starter and able to work without supervisionMust be able to resolve breakdown issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtimeMust be able to maintain timelines for project schedulesWillingness to work a varied schedule (12-hours shifts), overtime, and weekendsProficient in both electrical and mechanical knowledge and abilitiesBeing able to perform all maintenance activities related to his/her assigned action area, including planned tasks regarding predictive and preventive maintenance. Actively troubleshooting maintenance issues and tasks to ensure proper and timely resolutionAll other duties as assignedProficient in putting work orders in and accounting for all parts used. 



What You Need to Succeed:

Minimum of five years’ experience as industrial maintenance mechanic in an industrial environmentLock Out/Tag Out and/or NFPA 70E training Machining Experience with lathe, mill, grinder operations and hand toolsMechanical Experience – gearing, fasteners, hand tool usage and mechanical aptitudeWelding Experience – torch cutting / horizontal and verticalForklift experienceBasic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and ability to diagnose and solve problems
