Maintenance Technician

3rd shift: 11pm-7am

Pay: Depends on experience

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will focus on both electrical and mechanical maintenance with a 60% emphasis on electrical and 40% on mechanical tasks. Your role will be split equally between preventive maintenance and reactive repairs. You will work on mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, pneumatics, large gear boxes, air compressors, and chain and belt conveyors. Electrical troubleshooting will involve dealing with 480v 3 phase motors, 24v sensors and photoeyes, LED lighting maintenance, and VFDs. Additionally, you will engage in various project-based work, such as upgrading conveyors and facilities projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on hydraulics, pneumatics, and large gear boxes.Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems including 480v 3 phase motors and 24v sensors.Replace and maintain LED lighting on building ceilings.Work on project-based tasks including upgrading conveyors and facilities projects.Log work into PLEX online and maintain detailed notes in pass down books.Ensure all necessary reactive repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Knowledge of gear boxes and air compressors.Proficiency in using VFDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in plumbing and HVAC.Ability to troubleshoot and repair VFDs.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
