Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production lines in three primary areas: Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging. Your tasks will include setting up production lines, responding to maintenance calls, and performing preventive maintenance (PMs) using Fiix CMMS. You will spend most of your day realigning and diagnosing 'Grody's' (meat slicing machines) on the grill lines. You will also diagnose control panels that contain PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls. Electrical systems range from 24V-480V, and mechanical systems include gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets. The role involves occasional maintenance of wrapping machines, Codian and Fanuc robots, electromagnetic tracks, light curtains, sensors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and adheres to strict food production sanitation and safety practices, including the use of beard/hair nets, smocks, and hand washing stations. You will be part of a team of 6 technicians and 2 leads on each shift. The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with two Saturdays a month. You will need to bring your own slip-resistant shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.25 - $37.00/hr.
