**Maintenance Technician 2** Responsible for carrying out curative maintenance of machinery and equipment, and remedying routine failures, working under direct supervision. The role raises maintenance request as and when informed about any issue. The role works within multidisciplinary teams, keeping senior personnel informed about maintenance activities. The role identifies problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations related to maintenance tasks and equipment operation, assessing each issue using standard procedures and methodologies. The role troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs necessary repairs to restore functionality, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary. **Your role:** * Carries out first line repairs on a limited number of machines in one field of work and raises maintenance requests as and when informed about any issue. * Assists engineers in implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure uninterrupted production processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. * Conducts routine inspections and curative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to minimize breakdown and improve machine availability. * Troubleshoots basic equipment malfunctions and performs necessary repairs to restore functionality, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary. * Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials, to ensure a safe working environment. * Assists in inventory management and control of spare parts and supplies to ensure availability for maintenance activities and minimize production disruptions. * Provides assistance during equipment installations and upgrades following technical specifications and guidelines provided by senior engineers. * Assists in controlling maintenance costs by efficiently utilizing resources and minimizing waste and participates in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills. **You're the right fit if:** + You hold a High School Diploma, Vocational Education or equivalent. + Your skills include organization, effective communication, problem-solver, sense of urgency, proactive, responsibility and accountability. + You have 1+ years of experience in similar roles, including experience in troubleshooting and knowledge of refrigeration. + Intermediate English level is desired. + Availability to work in the A1 Shift. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
