Job Description

 

Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC & electrical systems in commercial and residential settingsPerform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, chillers, and boilersDiagnose and resolve electrical issues in lighting, power distribution, and control systemsConduct energy efficiency checks and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumptionRespond to emergency maintenance needs promptly and efficientlyMaintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts and suppliesCollaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operations of facilitiesStay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC and electrical systemsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all maintenance and repair activitiesProvide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprenticesParticipate in on-call rotations to address after-hours emergencies as needed

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Diploma or Certification in HVAC or electrical engineering requiredValid HVAC technician license and/or Journeyman Electrician licenseMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and electrical systems maintenance and repairStrong knowledge of building automation systems and energy managementFamiliarity with local and national building codes and safety regulationsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergenciesExperience working in hospitality or remote locations is a plus
