As a Maintenance Technician for Publix, you’ll utilize state-of-the-art instruments and industry best standards to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve the performance of a wide array of equipment.  Our plants produce award winning products, and without our Maintenance Technicians keeping the manufacturing equipment fine-tuned, the plants simply couldn't produce the volume and quality of products needed to serve our customers.
One of the following positions is available: Maintenance Technician Class A, B, or C.

The position offered is contingent upon the qualifications and work experience of the candidate.

Responsibilities include:maintain printing production equipment through preventive, predictive or corrective maintenancetrouble shoot and repair equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers   create and make changes to preventive maintenance work orders using SAP management systemcommunicate positively with all associates, showing a willingness to accept new ideas and input, striving to be an integral part of the production teammaintain the parts stockroom, which includes issuing parts and maintaining computer managed inventory systemmaintain the plant building needs including plumbing, electrical, electronic, computer hardware, and pneumatic problemsoversee maintenance procedures employed by operators, electricians, outside technicians, and ensure that the work performed is in accordance with company standardsmaintain thorough and accurate repair and maintenance history of all equipmentassure, that equipment is maintained at top efficiency, and that spare parts are available as neededcoordinates work with outside contractorsassist in the installation or moving of equipment
