Job Description

The Maintenance Tech III will lead advanced maintenance, repair, and fabrication of production machinery and plant systems. Performs preventive maintenance, welding, and specialized fabrication to ensure reliable and safe operation. Provides training and guidance to lower-level technicians.

Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant equipment.Complete minor to major repairs, including fabrication and welding to food-safe standards.Read and interpret schematics; fabricate parts using lathes, benders, shears, and welding equipment.Install and repair plant equipment, structures, and facility systems.Train and mentor Maintenance Tech I & II employees.Maintain compliance with safety and company procedures.

Work Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (2-year technical degree preferred).5+ years of maintenance experience.Ability to perform all duties of Maintenance Tech I & II.Advanced electrical troubleshooting and repair skills (PLC adjustments, I/O module replacement, three-phase wiring, schematics).Proficiency in welding, fabrication, machining, and mechanical repairs.Ability to fabricate guards, conveyors, mounts, and food-safe equipment.Strong PLC knowledge and troubleshooting ability.Arc Flash training.Forklift license eligibility.SAP Maintenance Module and basic computer skills.Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
