What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Tech II , you’ll be part of our Distribution Center team located in Northlake, TX. You’ll get to: + **Install, troubleshoot,** **repair** **and** **maintain** **production and facility equipment** + **Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of equipment; prioritize, schedule, assign and coordinate the work of assigned staff to** **accomplish** **a wide variety of duties related to the building** + **Operate a variety of equipment and machines including saws, drill presses and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work;** **maintain** **tools and equipment in a safe,** **clean** **and proper work condition** + **Assist** **in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures; trouble shoot to repair or replace fans and motors; perform repairs to motors, bells,** **clocks** **and lighting circuits and to communicate on audio visual equipment.** + **Perform a variety of skilled building maintenance including reports to doors, windows, roofs and other building parts, construct or assemble furniture and other wood and metal structures; install and** **maintain** **grand master lock systems and electrical security systems** + **Perform preventive maintenance work** + **Coordinate electrical repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits, and applicants; repairs and replaces lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions;** **maintains** **and regularly test working condition of safety equipment including fire alarm, emergency lighting, and intercom systems** **.** + **Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job** **in accordance with** **established procedure.** + **Ensure compliance with** **appropriate safety** **practices and procedures and with applicable federal,** **state** **and local codes,** **regulations** **and requirements.** Who You Are You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have: + Broad knowledge of methods and procedures used in various distribution center functions + Ability to work alone and in a team environment + 2-year degree or certification in mechanical/electrical field + 3 years of maintenance experience in a highly automated distribution environment to include conveyor, sortation, carousel and fork truck equipment + Ability to operate powered equipment efficiently and safely.
