**Job Title: Maintenance Technician I** **Job Description** This role involves preventative maintenance and emergency repair of processing equipment, bottle filling machines, and plastic blow molding equipment. The position requires a good degree of mechanical aptitude to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including light electrical troubleshooting. Tasks include changing motors and wiring, and MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on processing equipment, bottle filling machines, and plastic blow molding equipment. + Identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot, including light electrical troubleshooting. + Conduct MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. + Handle tasks involving hydraulics, pneumatics, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. + Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills. + Operate a forklift as needed. + Comply with OSHA Health and Safety rules. + Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, cleaning, and organization. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a production environment. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. + Experience with packaging equipment, bottling, and blow molding. + MIG welding skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a food production is highly preferred. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Forklift operation experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values its employees with a strong training program and ample opportunities for growth. The primary focus is on bottle filling and molding machines, which handle six different product lines. Shifts include first (6:00am-2:30pm), second (2:00pm-10:30pm), and third (10:00pm-6:30am).
