Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Maintenance Team Leader responsible for coordinating daily operations, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes.

YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate daily maintenance team operations, including work order management, safety practices, productivity, and materials logistics
Perform hands-on maintenance duties and actively participate in completing tasks alongside team members
Provide direct support, coaching, and on-the-job training to develop technician skills and improve performance
Foster strong working relationships to promote team cohesion and ensure customer satisfaction
Lead safety initiatives, including new hire safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance work
Partner with Operational Managers to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement
Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency
Other duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver’s License required.
3+ years of maintenance experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security clearance.
Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
3+ years’ experience in airport maintenance services.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Physical & Work Environment RequirementsRegularly required to: stand, sit, walk, use hands/fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
Frequently required to: climb ladders, balance, and work in confined spaces
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work performed in outdoor airport environments, including ramps and around aircraft
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces such as baggage conveyor systems
Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Strong hand-eye coordination is essential
