Responsibilities Own the safe operation and maintenance of our high-pressure steam system. Ensure regulatory compliance for all utilities through accurate documentation. Maintain and optimize key facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and water treatment. Develop and execute our preventative maintenance program using management software. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maximize uptime and operational efficiency. Manage the inventory for critical spare parts. Perform facility surveys, repairs, and general upkeep to meet safety standards. Uphold a clean, safe work environment and participate in ongoing training. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or other GMP environments is highly desirable. 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with direct responsibility for high-pressure steam systems. Hands-on expertise in maintaining HVAC, Compressed Air, Water Treatment, and Refrigeration systems. Required Certifications: Universal EPA 608 and a valid boiler operator license. Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on approach to repairs. Experience managing a critical spare parts inventory. Must be able to pass a background check and provide 2-3 professional references. Must be able to work rotational shifts, including weekends. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments that can be warm and dusty. Own transportation and a valid Class 5 driver’s license are desirable.
