Facility Maintenance SupervisorAbout the Team
The Maintenance Support Supervisor oversees facility maintenance operations, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure projects while leading a multi-shift team to improve equipment availability and support various site initiatives. This role requires strong technical, leadership, and project management skills, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What you can look forward to as Maintenance Support Supervisor:
Assigns technicians to duties such as maintenance, repair, upgrade or replacement of all infrastructure plant equipment and buildings proper. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and testing of fire suppression equipment and security systems. Assigns technicians to support line moves and obtains bids for additional work from outside contractors. Supervises, coaches and motivates a facilities staff over a multi-shift operation. Ability to track equipment downtime with the systems in place and implement continuous improvement activities to improve equipment availability. Purchase building and maintenance supplies, and furniture. Participate on the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team, cost reductions, project status report, and audits. Leads utility cost reduction initiatives. Support employee engagement activities using tech team Conference room & Cafeteria set-ups Purchase auxiliary process / support equipment (conveyors and laser etch machines) Lead the activity for process equipment moves as well as supports office moves Assists the Engineering department with developing specifications for new infrastructure and process machinery. Champion 5S in the maintenance auxiliary areas Supervises stockroom activities and employees. Supervises pro-active maintenance techs and corresponding activities.
