Maintenance Supervisor II - Cement Plant

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You Will Be Doing** Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager. **Responsibilities** + Schedule and supervise maintenance work to meet production needs. + Manage urgent repairs and minimize equipment downtime. + Develop and motivate maintenance staff for reliable performance. + Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for job scheduling and resource planning. + Ensure safety protocols and plant rules are followed during maintenance. + Participate in plant projects and provide mechanical input. + Maintain records and contribute to operational efficiency evaluations. + Support grievance resolution per Collective Bargaining Agreement. + Ensure tools and consumables are available and in good condition. **What We Are Looking For** + 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education. + Cement experience preferred + Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery. + Strong leadership and organizational skills. + Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). + Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage. **Work Environment** + Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs + Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support. **What We Offer** + Competitive base salary ($90,360 - $120,473) + 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions, highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits + Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance + Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled **Req ID** JR10009895
