Maintenance Supervisor II - Cement Plant

**What You Will Be Doing**
Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
**Responsibilities**
+ Schedule and supervise maintenance work to meet production needs.
+ Manage urgent repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
+ Develop and motivate maintenance staff for reliable performance.
+ Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for job scheduling and resource planning.
+ Ensure safety protocols and plant rules are followed during maintenance.
+ Participate in plant projects and provide mechanical input.
+ Maintain records and contribute to operational efficiency evaluations.
+ Support grievance resolution per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
+ Ensure tools and consumables are available and in good condition.
**What We Are Looking For**
+ 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education.
+ Cement experience preferred
+ Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery.
+ Strong leadership and organizational skills.
+ Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
+ Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage.
**Work Environment**
+ Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs
+ Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support.
