The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the Maintenance Department and reports to the Director of Machining and Continuous Improvement. This individual will supervise employees who install, maintain, and repair industrial processing and manufacturing equipment. Responsible for overall facilities maintenance and planning, including but not limited to grounds and permitting, machine and tooling upkeep and janitorial services.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct, coordinate, and supervise the activities of Maintenance teamProvide leadership and technical direction to allow team to improve according to key departmental metricsCreate a positive working environment which is committed to excellence, by demonstrating personal commitment to these idealsWork as the primary point of contact for managing building, grounds services, and external maintenance contractors/vendors.Work with appropriate IT/Production personnel to implement and maintain necessary resources (tools, PCs, floor space, etc.)Work with Supervisors to coordinate interdependent operations and activitiesPlan and establish work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet production requirementsWork with reporting Manager and HR on personnel issuesPartner with Safety and Human Resources to ensure Environmental, Health and Safety compliance. Maintain tracking and documentation for Hazardous Waste Compliance Champion Six Sigma and facilitate Lean initiativesMay occasionally perform special projects; Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

Experience & Education
