Maintenance Supervisor
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Glen Mills, PA Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3rd shift 10 PM – 6 AM (on call one weekend per month) Salary: $80k–$110k Overview: Our client, one of the largest beverage manufacturer's in the U.S., is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join its team at the Glen Mills, PA facility. This is a full-time, direct-hire role offering significant growth potential within a rapidly expanding company that provides opportunities nationwide. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and provide leadership to the maintenance team, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of plant equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with GMP and OSHA regulations in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: + Lead and direct the work of maintenance team members, including personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. + Ensure compliance with GMPs, OSHA standards, PPE requirements, and food safety regulations (including SQF). + Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and increase throughput. + Support installation and modification of equipment to maximize production efficiency. + Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of plant utilities, mechanical systems, and production equipment. + Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement hands-on solutions to minimize downtime. + Assist in coordinating and documenting environmental and safety compliance reporting. + Develop and implement SOPs and Best Practices into maintenance operations. + Collaborate cross-functionally with production to optimize workflow and resolve equipment concerns. + Supervise contractors and ensure proper execution of maintenance projects. + Maintain organized records, reports, and documentation for regulatory and corporate requirements. Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. + 5–7 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing. + Proven leadership experience in a production or maintenance environment is required. + Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP. + Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to work under deadline pressures and adapt to a dynamic environment. + Blow mold experience preferred but not required.
