Maintenance Supervisor

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Maintain production equipment, metalworking processes, and painting processes, according to the company's needs.Supervise the team of technicians and maintenance group leaders, creating a positive work environment, continuously improving the efficiency of the personnel under their supervision, and achieving the department's annual objectives.Designs and implements the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance programs.Utilizes diagnostic and improvement tools to correct root causes of failures in production equipment, preventing their recurrence.Service-oriented attitude: Addresses the needs of internal customers in a courteous, timely, and effective manner.Utilizes BRPMS techniques such as: Ideas, TPM, 5s, PSP, Kaizen, etc. Participates in assigned committees.Participates in safety-related activities.Participates in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) established for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015.Complete planned Quality and Training training on time.Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.Comply with safety rules determined by the role.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS

Basic English for reading technical information.Extensive knowledge of preventive, corrective, and root-cause maintenance techniques, and good command of fault diagnosis.Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC controls.Computer skills: MS Office, email, and PLC software.SAP and Google Docs (desirable)Knowledge of techniques and philosophies such as: TPM, Six Sigma, 5s, and DMAIC.Knowledge of safety techniques and standards such as: Lock-Out, Tag-Out, use of personal protective equipment, working at heights, and handling chemicals.Dynamic and good pressure management skillsKnowledge of compressed air, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Experience in maintenance of 100-ton presses, chain conveyors, laser cutters, CNC machines, 5-ton cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, combustion furnaces, rectifiers, complex mechanical systems, welding machines, powder coating booths, and similar equipment.
