Who will you be working with?
The Friction Product Line designs and manufactures high-friction and low-friction composition, sintered brake shoes, specialty shoes, and disc brake linings for freight, locomotive and transit vehicles.
How will you make a difference?
As a Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the Plant Operations Director, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of employees engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. RFPC is focused on process-controlled manufacturing. The Maintenance supervisor will be responsible for enhancing the TPM program while overseeing maintenance operations, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with lean principlesLead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, providing training and supportMonitor equipment performance and reliability to minimize downtimeCreate / enhance PM program to include CBM as well as preventative tasks based on success of equipment and failures historyWork with the engineering and MIT team to eliminate repeated and frequent failuresManage maintenance database system and ensure work orders are documentedIncrease knowledge of technicians to maintain automation assets being introduced to processesConduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with production teams to ensure maintenance schedules do not disrupt operationsManage maintenance budgets and resources effectivelyEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards: Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.What about the Work Environment and Physical Demands of the job?

$60,700.00-$83,400.00The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
